Paddleboard with Joe

Paddle on the Bay

- Slow adventures on Strangford Lough

Explore the beautiful waters of Ballymoran Bay with Tracey’s husband Joe. As a fully qualified watersports instructor, he can introduce beginners to the pleasures of paddleboarding or show more experienced people the best parts of the bay to SUP.

Stand Up Paddleboarding is currently one of the fastest growing water sports in the world and for good reason. Even someone with a basic level of fitness can enjoy the gentle pleasure of quietly floating on water. Time spent paddle boarding will give your core and upper legs a low intensity workout that is surprisingly effective. Plus, with Joe’s instruction, you will see that paddle boarding is really fun, so you won’t even notice you are exercising!

Once you have the hang of paddle boarding, Joe will take you to see some of the hidden islands dotted around Ballymoran Bay. Keep an eye out for wildlife and enjoy the incredible views of Strangford Lough seen from the water.
